The Trustees operate a grant giving policy with a view to making annual grants of £350,000.
The Trustees are particularly interested in supporting the following areas of charitable work:-

The Inman Charity no longer accepts appeals by post.
All applications should be sent by email to:
Appeals for consideration at the spring meeting should be made between 1st January and 31st January
Appeals for consideration at the autumn meeting should be made between 1st July and 31st July.
Appeals received outside this period will not be considered.
Appeals should contain two attachments, both in PDF format:
-A covering letter of around two pages* outlining the nature and purpose of the charity and the funding request, including the registered Charity Number, or CIC/CIO number.
-A copy of the charity's latest Annual Report and Accounts.
The subject line of the email should be only the name of the charity which is making the appeal.
The body of the email should be left blank, so that all relevant information is contained within the two attachments. Any contents of the body of the email will not be considered.
General enquiries as to the suitability of a proposed application will not be answered.
*In the case of applications for medical research, a fuller report may be considered appropriate to give the Trustees enough detail to make informed decisions about the request.
The Trustees will support specific projects or core funding. In the case of specific projects, please provide details of the total amount required, contributions received to date, and proposed timing to completion.
The Trustees do not acknowledge applications and will only contact those to whom grants are awarded. An automated email will confirm that email applications have been received.
